Hi, I'm Catherine - the founder and heart behind Elegant Escapades Event Management.

I didn't  start this company with years of experience - I started it with years of passion.

Celebrating others has always come naturally to me. Whether it was setting the table just right for family dinners, organizing school events, or planning my own birthday surprises, I've found joy in creating something meaningful - something people would remember. Over time, I became the one everyone trusted to bring the pieces together.  And I loved it. I didn't just want things to look beautiful - I wanted people to feel special, seen, and celebrated.

For years, event planning was a dream I kept tucked away. I had no formal training or professional background, and that made me hesitant to take it seriously. I kept telling myself "maybe one day."

Then one day, I asked myself: Why not now? 

Knowing I lacked in experience, I applied to event school - hoping and praying each day for that acceptance letter. When it finally arrived, I was overjoyed. I worked hard, pushed myself, and graduated at the top of my class. I had the foundation I needed to take the next step.

Starting a business without industry experience was very intimidating - but it gave me freedom to do things differently. I dove headfirst into webinars, workshops, planning tools, and mock setups. I created my own templates and styles, and studied everything I could to become the planner I wanted to be.

Even after graduating I didn't have hands-on experience - but what I did have was heart, intuition, and a clear vision. I wanted to build a plannig service that wasn't just focused on luxury - but on meaning. Not just on aesthetics but on emotion. I wanted people to feel seen, supported, and celebrated. That's when Elegant Escapades Event Management was born.

Every unforgettable  event starts with a dream. For me, that dream was to create meaningful, beautiful moments that bring people together in unforgettable ways. With natural passion for design, organization, and storytelling, I founded Elegant Escapades Event Management to help others celebrate life's most important milestones - with both style and heart.
